Flushmate vessels and components do not retrofit into gravity type toilets. They are only used with Flushmate-equipped toilets.

I have Kholer toilets throughout my home(5). These units require maintenance. I am not sure Kholer deserves their lofty reputation as the flush mate components have required changing too many times.
I purchased two of these items and neither came with the rod kits as shown in the picture. I bought one on these from Faucet Depot a couple of years ago and it was included. If I had known they were not included now, I could have purchased them with the Flushmate systems all at one time.
I was afraid something would be missing when I ordered this, but it's a complete slide-in replacement. Just a simple adjustment to the cartridge actuator and you're done. I would recommend getting the wrench to remove the three inch plastic nut at the base of the tank.
Instructions are complete, easy-to-follow, direct. 30 minutes: need an old towel, 13mm socket, 15mm deep socket (or wrench), flat screwdriver, adjustable pliers. Comes with other tools. This unit works so much better than the original "PF/2 Energizer Mod 150-403" that came with the Eljer toilet, it's worth replacing the original with this contraption even if you don't need to. FaucetDepot had the best price and delivery.
