This is a wonderful faucet. It's very handsome and solidly constructed, the spot-resistant coating really resists spots, and it lets me control the water temperature in very small increments. (My previous faucet produced scalding hot or cold water.) My only caution is that it takes some time to get used to having the controls on the right side. Typically, I pick up a glass or a pot in my right hand and turn the faucet on with my left. With this one, the process needs to be reversed or it's necessary to reach under my right hand with my left. Since this is my first "gooseneck" faucet, I don't know if that is typical of this kind of facuet or not. I also don't know if the controls can be put on the left side, but none of the instructions mentioned that option.
