Basement sink, replacing an older, non-functioning model.
Installed in an under sink tub for a below drain level bar sink. Replaced the same pump that burned out in 2 years of occasional use. Discovered the "plumber" that installed it skipped the step where you drill a hole within the laundry tub enclosure on the outlet pipe that prevents airlock problems. That's what burned it out and I did it right this time so I expect a long life this time. READ the Instructions, and don't trust that Plumbers will not get lazy at times.
I use this product in my fish room in my cellar. 50+ tanks engineered to autochange water ... this pump works great!
For the price, this little pump does the job. I've had one for 5 years for pretty heavy use and thought I needed to replace the pump. After replacing the pump, found out that the pump was fine...it was a pressure release valve that had gone bad that was making the pump run constantly. So now I have a backup should I need one in the future.
