We had our first InSinkErator hot water dispenser installed 15 years ago when we built our home. We like having hot water in an instant. We always knew that when the time came to replace it we would buy the same brand. It was easy to swap out the old one with the new, we did have to make some minor adjustments. We also purchased a style similar to the old one so that it would fit on top of the sink in the same way. We are confident that this one will last just as long as the first one did.
This insinkerator is great for sanitizing dog dishes after feeding, making a cup of tea, providing hot water for recipes in cooking, and making instant soups. It is very attractive and very useful. Faucet depot has the best price I could find on the internet!
Bought this to replace a faulty tank on 10 year old model of similar style. Is cheaper than buying a tank alone. I kept the older faucet part as I like it better (longer handle). Re-install took 30 minutes. I use it for nearly all hot water needs in the kitchen because my water heater is far from the sink- saving lots of time and money. This dispenser is an essential convenience in my kitchen, just as important as the microwave or refrigerator. Nothing like fresh coffee or tea in 4 minutes or Swiss Miss in 15 seconds! This is a less expensive model with less "style" than others but the tank and plumbing is the same on all models.
