SILENT and HOT!

Our home is on a slab and all hot water supply lines run through the cool concrete. Heated water takes a couple of gallons to reach the kitchen sink and quickly cools in the lines. I think the cause is called Physics. I had an ancient trash compactor next to the kitchen sink and decided to replace it with the Eemax in a homemade cabinet enclosure. The trash compactor used an installed, dedicated 110V 20A circuit. I used soldered copper and copper union connections in line with the HOT supply line from the 50 foot distant gas water heater. Replaced the sink faucet also. It works perfectly. I get hot water in THREE SECONDS from the Eemax to the faucet. I set it at the labeled 125 degree mark. We hand wash dishes and now use cups of water vice gallons. Judging from a few days of use, I may have been able to get by with the 2 gallon vice 4, but no regrets. The Eemax makes no noise-I mean UTTERLY SILENT, and has no heat signature. Only the copper lines are warm. I will complete the cabinet with a face frame, cabinet door and shelves in front that permit free air flow and access if need be. The instant hot water saves time, aggravation, and LOTS OF WATER. Our County has a sliding scale for water costs and uses that rate as a multiple for a watershed/waste water tax. The less water, the less tax. This will result in a significant savings and hopefully offset extra electricity load for the Eemax. The one drawback was the relief valve faced the wrong direction once installed. This requires a 180 degree "U" toward the drain line--not optimal. You can clearly see this in the photo.
