• Faucets offer a warranty that gives five years of mechanical, manufacturing and finish defects.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty on Acrylic and Cast Iron tubs.
• All china has a one year warranty on material and workmanship defects.
• All Basins have a two year warranty which excludes the finish.
• Vanities have a one year warranty

How do ceramic and washerless cartridges compare?

Ceramic is a slightly better material for cartridges to be constructed from. Water flow is controlled by a cartridge or seals that are pre-arranged to let water flow. Once ports or holes are properly aligned and configured, the water will flow freely.

How do you know when to use a single or double offset and supply lines that are straight?

For faucets on the tub wall, you will use a single offset on a 3 3/8” center in the floor. Use a double offset with an 8” floor center for a tub wall faucet. Rim mount faucets will require supply lines that are straight.

Can Elizabethan claw foot tubs be painted in the future if needed?

Yes. You can paint our cast iron claw foot tubs with oil enamel paint.

Do Elizabethan plinth tubs include a device for leveling?

Yes. Our plinth tubs have a leveling device for one inch capability included.

Can a riser and enclosure be used with swivel arm faucets by Elizabethan?

No. Over time the weight would not be adequately supported.

Caring for Cast Iron Leg Tubs by Elizabethan Classics

Cast iron leg tubs in the Elizabethan Classics collection have a surface of porcelain enamel. You should never use an abrasive or self cleaning cleaner will more than likely damage the surface and ultimately void your tub’s warranty.

Instructions for Maintaining Your Tub:
1. Immediately following each tub use, you should completely and thoroughly dry the tub.
2. Always use a liquid cleanser to clean the tub. Follow the instructions included with the cleanser accurately. Liquid Top Job, Formula 409 and Liquid Spic & Span are some of the suggested cleaners for use on tubs.
3. It is recommended that spray on or wipe off cleaners NEVER be used on tubs. Abrasive cleaners such as Soft Scrub are NOT recommended as well.
